The Donald and Mary Lowe Sports Medicine Facility
Whether on the court or on the field, with every Syracuse University student-athlete’s success comes a true test of endurance. Reaching top-level performance requires a commitment of each player’s body, mind and spirit, plus a persistent support team behind the scenes. In fact, it was Sports Medicine Coordinator Don Lowe’s 25-year charge (1975-2000) to care for student- athletes that helped shape SU’s athletic program into what it is today.

You too can help support the health and welfare of SU student-athletes through your $500, $1,500, $5,000, $10,000 or more donation to the Donald and Mary Lowe Sports Medicine Facility.

Your donation will entitle you to be memorialized now and in the future with a personalized Wall of Honor plaque near the training room. What is great about your monetary support is that it will be added to my family’s contributions to build and outfit the entire training area with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. Best of all, it will be conveniently located inside the Carmelo Anthony Center, already under construction on campus.

Now is the time to help shape the Donald and Mary Lowe Sports Medicine Facility! To reserve your spot on the Wall of Honor, donate $500, $1,500, $5,000, $10,000 or more in a one-time gift or a pledge by calling 1-877-CLUB4SU toll-free or 315-443-1419.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey D. Lowe

About the gift: When Syracuse recognized the need for a new sports medicine facility, the University approached former SU Coordinator of Sports Medicine, Don Lowe. An honored member of both the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) and New York State Athletic Trainer’s Association (NYSTATA) Hall of Fames, Don Lowe’s generosity and that of his family established the SU sports medicine fund to build a state of the art facility for future student-athletes and athletic trainers.
